The service was good. The room was clean. However we had groups of young drunken girls and guys in rooms all around us. We were kept awake all night the first night with music and shouting until about 6am. We then managed to fall asleep for an hour before being woken by the fire alarm that someone set off as a joke. The next night was the same apart from the fighting and the smashing of glass that we could hear.
We rang reception to tell them there was fighting and smashing going on. It was quiet then for about an hour. Surprisingly they weren't evicted so we had no sleep for the second night. We even had one of them jump from their balcony on to our balcony which was 11 storey's up and knock on the door as a prank. All in all probably wonderful for young people but for mature people I'd give it a miss.
We went to the Outback adventure (food no good, service no good). We went to the ice bar (no ice glasses left, music broken, didn't tell us until after we had paid). Went to the Bavarian Haus for tea (absolutely wonderful, good food, good service, good time). After being messed around by the Aquaduck people for 2 days we gave up and didn't bother. Did some wonderful shopping, enjoyed the beach. Had a fabulous breakfast at Glass on the Marina.
