Not a bad place to stay on a budget.

Clean and nice place to stay, however because the place is small compared to surrounding properties there was very little sunlight. The pool was also in a shaded area for most part of the day, which made the beach a better option. The management all though were probably friendly had what seemed to be a relaxed work ethic, (eg) we checked out at 10. 00am on a wednsday and the office was not open, and there were no directions on were to put the keys on departure.

I lived on the Gold Coast for ten years working in various roles and loved the atmosphere. We miss that atmosphere and lifestyle and that is why we return for holidays. There is so much to do, and there is always something to do that will suit your budget and taste. Even though i am a proud Queenslander, and may be bias, i would not hesitate recommending this destination to overseas tourists or other Australians that havent experienced what Queensland has to offer, i truely brlieve we are living in one of the premium destinations in the world.
