Our 2 bedroom apartment was modern and spacious. It had well appointed fixtures, but was lacking in the extra touches such as coffee/tea and shampoo arrival pack's you expect to get you started. The views were sensational, but it also was very noisy with so much noise below in the circle courtyard. We were 30 floors up and couldn't believe the noise. General street noise and party go'ers late at night were also easily heard. Soundproof glass would have been nice. Location is terrific with buses a short distance from the hotel to all the theme parks and shopping centres. Good shopping in the area and some fabulous restaurants too. Overall it was a great place to stay with swimming pools, cinema, spa all handy to the towers. The 'meet and greet' person was a worry- he didn't speak much English and was quite curt, almost bordering on rude and kept us waiting 45 mins before they arrived without a word of apology. Don't expect warm and fuzzies from the man with the folder!
Typically the Gold Coast is known for it's beach and the theme parks. The beach was rough and not really good for swimming this visit. Theme parks were good fun. Plenty of restaurants to choose from in this area. We ate at Kamakaze in Circle, and The Chat room , Thai and Italian in the clock courtyard, all excellent service and food was great.
