I stayed here as a result of reading the reviews on this very site. I must say that they were accurate too. Everything is fantastic with helpful friendy staff and great security. Chris (staff) even went out and bought me a coffee plunger! We stayed on the 13th floor facing the sea and the traffic noise was minimal so if you stay on that side, ask to be at least this high up. The only gripe was that the fold-out bed is very uncomfortable and ended up with it off the frame and on the floor.
I believe staff are looking at alternative beds. Thanks again for the great stay.
Surfers Paradise: Do the full day trip watching wales, the island and return via tall ship, but not if the wind is cold! I recommend the horse trek out west in the mountains and also the Currumbin Wildlife Santuary - that's a good one to slip in just before your flight out of the Gold Coast.
